Hall of Fame

Friday, March 7 marked the 7th annual Wakefield Memorial High School Alumni Foundation Hall of Fame Induction.  Our esteemed 2014 honorees began their day by visiting their former high school, enjoying a building tour led by Student Council officers followed by a luncheon in our Warrior Cafe, prepared and served by students  in our Culinary Arts program.  The inductees then met with our seniors in The Savings Bank Theater at WMHS.  Here they shared their life and career journeys - along with a bit of wisdom and advice - as our soon-to-be alumni approach graduation day.  Following the assembly, students had an opportunity to interact with our honored guest; pictured here are students talking with retired Lieutenant Colonel Bob Walsh, Class of 1968:

An evening induction ceremony was held at the Bear Hill Country Club, enjoyed by family, friends, colleagues, and community.

The following WMHS graduates entered the Hall of Fame in recognition of their significant achievements:

Marion Whiting 1950, Government
